The answer is never written down. The proof always is.
Real SBAC question styles · 3 stories per form · instant feedback on every part
Welcome back!
You have an unfinished session:
Every paragraph of every story, every question, and every answer choice
has its own speaker button.
You can use it as much as you need!
Choose your name from the list, then enter your student number and tap Sign In. Guest students will also enter their first name.
Choose Form A, Form B, or Form C. Each form has three short stories and ten questions. The three forms use completely different stories, so a second attempt is real practice and not a memory test.
Before each set of questions you get the whole story on its own screen. Read it all the way through. Every paragraph has its own speaker button and its own number, so you can find your way back to it later. Once you start the questions the story stays beside them, so you can always look back.
📖 3 stories · look back as much as you wantSome questions are plain multiple choice. Most of them come in two parts. Part A asks you what the story shows — something the author never says straight out. Part B asks you to pick the sentence from the story that proves your answer to Part A. You have to answer both parts before you can confirm. Each part is worth its own point, so you still get credit for the part you get right.
🧩 Part A = the idea · Part B = the proofYou get two attempts for each form. After your first try on all three forms, each form will unlock for one more attempt. After two attempts a form is locked — only your teacher can unlock it.
When each question appears, the answer choices are locked for fifteen seconds. Use that time to read the question and all of the choices carefully before you pick. On these questions the choices are whole sentences from the story, so read every one of them.
⏱️ 15 second read lockAfter you confirm your answer, wait eight seconds before moving on. This gives your brain time to process the feedback — right or wrong!
⏳ 8 second pauseA timer runs the whole time. It is not a countdown — there is no time limit. It only tracks how long you take so your teacher can see your progress.
